What We're Looking For:

The Construction\nAdministrator serves as the owner's and design professional's\nrepresentative during construction, providing leadership, oversight, and\ncoordination to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contract\ndocuments, design intent, quality standards, and client expectations. The Client Service Leader, Industrial is responsible for developing and expanding client relationships, driving business growth, and leading strategic business development efforts within Barge's Industrial market. This role serves as the primary relationship manager for key industrial clients and prospects, working collaboratively across business units to identify opportunities, secure new work, and deliver exceptional client experiences.

The Client Service Leader develops and executes market growth strategies aligned with Barge's strategic plan while fostering long-term partnerships with clients in manufacturing, industrial processing, food and beverage, consumer products, advanced manufacturing, logistics, aerospace, defense, and other industrial sectors. This role works closely with technical leaders, project managers, and subject matter experts to position Barge for success throughout the project lifecycle—from opportunity identification and pursuit through project execution and client retention.

Education & Experience Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of 10 years of experience within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry, industrial manufacturing sector, or related technical consulting environment.
Demonstrated success in business development, client relationship management, account growth, and project delivery.
Experience working with industrial clients in sectors such as manufacturing, food and beverage, consumer products, aerospace, defense, logistics, distribution, advanced manufacturing, or industrial processing.
Established professional network within Middle Tennessee and surrounding industrial markets.
Strong communication, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to secure and deliver complex projects.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional Engineer (PE) license or other relevant professional certification.

Responsibilities

Provide Senior level leadership and review. Effectively manage and schedule multiple staff in several locations across the Southeast while collaborating with peers in other states across Barge’s footprint. Coordinate staff and assign tasks to meet milestones and deadlines.
Support and grow a multidisciplinary team to provide environmental services including but not limited to environmental permitting, wetland mitigation banking, species banking, water quality project design and implementation, energy sector projects, DOT sector projects, coastal resiliency, land management, wetland delineations and jurisdictional determinations, and habitat assessments.
Manage and adjust staff scheduling to meet ENR Center’s billable rate goals.
Efficiently identify issues and problem-solve to avoid delays. Mentor staff and promote culture of high expectations of quality deliverables, safety, accountability, and a positive and energetic working environment.
Prepare technical reports and other environmental regulatory compliance documents.
Provide final technical review of reports, permit application documents, and databases.
Manage local subcontractors on large projects where local teaming is required.
Assist with the development of proposal scope and fees.
Collaborate with project managers to facilitate project completion including client communication, staff/equipment management, budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
Collaborate with the Director and team to recruit, onboard, and professionally develop future staff.
Work to reduce department projects costs to drive competitive status.
Develop and build positive relationships with clients, direct reports, officials, contractors, and others.
Manage staffing resources to complete current and future workloads across the Southeast with a focus in Florida.

Education & Experience Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in applicable field such as biology, ecology, environmental science/policy, environmental engineering, natural resources, or a closely related discipline. Master’s degree preferred.
Five-plus years of experience in staff management is preferred.
Ten-plus years of experience in technical writing and field efforts including environmental permitting and mitigation banking/restoration projects in the Southeast.
Strong interpersonal/communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced-collaborative team atmosphere with an established group of engineers, scientists, and administrative staff.
Light travel (25-50%) is required.
Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no recent accidents, DUIs, or major traffic violations).

Barge is looking for a CEI Inspector to perform technical assignments including inspection of roadway and bridge construction activities; oversight of contractor daily operations; performing materials sampling and verification testing; plans reading; field surveying and construction engineering computations. Monitor construction progress, verify work completed and assist with construction pay estimates and senior inspector responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Inspect construction work
Conduct field tests
Assist Senior Inspector

Education & Experience Qualifications:

High school graduate or equivalent

2 years of experience in construction inspection

1 year in roadway and / or bridge construction

Ideal candidate shall possess the following Qualifications/Certifications:

OSHA 10 Safety Training Construction (All field personnel)

TDOT:

Asphalt Roadway Paving Inspector

Class 1 Concrete Technician

Asphalt Plant Tech Certification

Soils and Aggregate Technician

TDEC:

EPSC Level 1 - For inspectors conducting EPSC inspections

EPSC Level 2 - For supervisors of EPSC inspections

Nuclear Gauge Training

Work Zone Traffic Control and Flagger

(Candidates that possess some, but not all, of the above are eligible for employment consideration provided said certifications can be obtained within six months)
